Lazer Roll-sys retention mechanism
The Roll-sys retention system gives you accurate and progressive sizing adjustment using a unique roller at the top of the helmet, allowing you to easily alter your fit with one finger, even while riding. The roller regulates the tension of a cable that is routed around the entire circumference of the head, giving totally even retention without pressure points or pinching. The system automatically centres the helmet on your head an also accommodates ponytails. Roll-sys is patented by Lazer and only available on Lazer Helmets.
The magic buckle eliminates painful pinching by using a magnetic fastening rather than a conventional buckle. The result is quick, convenient opening and closure, even with full finger gloves.
X-static includes a layer of fibres containing silver ions, this preserves the freshness of the padding by inhibiting the growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi. The layer of silver ions also helps regulate your temperature, in hot conditions it conducts your body heat out into the surrounding air, whilst in cold conditions it reflects your body heat back.
The Tardiz features 6 vents to provide cooling airflow intake. The inside of the helmet is channelled to direct the cool air over your head and expel hot air and moisture for freshness and comfort.
Aquavent and Perfopad
The Lazer Tardiz is designed for uncompromised aerodynamics in time trial and triathlon riding situations, both of which involve continuous intense efforts that lead to heat build up inside the helmet. The tardiz is equipped with a bespoke port at the top of the helmet for dispersing water over the head, the Perfopad padding then distributes it around the helmet via channels for cooling when you need it most.
The Tardiz has been developed and wind tunnel tested to minimize drag and maximize smooth laminar airflow whilst in the head down position during sprints and hard efforts.
About Road Helmets
Performance cycle helmets offer unrivalled levels of protection with the absolute minimum of material. They are ridiculously light and feature a series of huge vents, designed to scoop up air and direct it over your head. On long, hot climbs, the difference is noticeable.
In order to cycle on the road or compete in a race it may be a legal requirement in your country to wear a helmet certified to a specific standard or an international equivalent. All helmets sold on Wiggle are certified and labelled with a European CE EN1078 standard. Please check your country’s requirements to see if this is sufficient and if necessary contact the manufacturer to see if this helmet has been additionally certified for your country.
Established in 1919, Lazer Helmets, with headquarter in Belgium, designs, manufactures and markets its bicycle, motorcycle and leisure helmets in more than 40 countries, over 5 continents.
